18th October 2016 Windsurfing: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: big chop Air Temperature: 12.1 Sea Temperature: 14.4 Weather: cloud and sun Max Speed: 21.5 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 22 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Rigged 86tri/5.2m and launched just before a big High. Sea was messy chop with a few wind blown faces to ride down. About half an hour sea cleaned up a bit but still choppy and slow sailing. At least I know board and fins work with 5.2m, back slid out to start with then I got dialed into set up more.. Fluffed gybes in chop for a while. As wind wet a bit more North Anglesey started blocking and wind went about 2:30, still OK for 6m but I was tired. |
